Over $Four million price of meth present in ‘funky pickles’ via border brokers


Border patrol brokers in Texas seized greater than $Four million price of suspected methamphetamine hidden inside of a tractor-trailer wearing “funky pickles,” officers stated.

On April 17, U.S. Customs and Border Coverage officials inspected a tractor-trailer hauling a cargo of pickled cucumbers on the Pharr-Reynose Global Bridge shipment facility, the company stated.

After imaging the cargo, government stated they discovered 114 applications of suspected methamphetamine, price $4,343,000, hidden with the contemporary produce, officers stated.

“This considerable amount of exhausting narcotics won’t make its ultimate vacation spot in the USA,” Port Director Carlos Rodriguez stated.

CBP South Texas tweeted a photograph of the cargo, calling the narcotics “funky pickles.” An investigation via the Division of Place of origin Safety is ongoing.

In August, CBP officials on the Pharr Global Bridge discovered 1,561 applications of suspected meth — $16 million price — in a trailer wearing a cargo of broccoli and different produce, in keeping with the company.
